Southeast Conference Week Recap

Let’s take a look at the most important themes of this week in the Southeast Conference!

Florida Central

A lot of great matches were played in the Florida Central Division. Great away win for OFC Barca against Orlando City Soccer School that allows the team to reach the top of the table with a game less than Diaspora United that has been stopped by Orlando Rovers with a 2-2 draw. Second loss of the season in two games for FK Orlando that is still at 0 points.

Florida South

Sixth consecutive win for Miami United that beat Miami Beach CF with a 3-0 win that leads them to consolidate the first place in the Florida South Division. A win and a draw for City Soccer SC in this week that now is 7 points far from the top of the table with one more game played.

Florida West

PSE Conquistadores was able to beat Huracan FC, which is still at 0 points after 4 matches played. A great 5-1 win that allows the team to reach Florida Tropics at the 2nd place despite having two more matches played. Three points also for Winter Haven United which convict Sporting Tampa Bay to the third loss in a row.

Georgia

11th win in a row for Ginga Atlanta which yesterday has beaten FC Matata with a final result of 5-0 thanks to the hat-trick of McCaulay. Great result that allows the team to take a 9-point advantage over LSA Limeño , which was defeated by the direct confrontation on Tuesday 5th November, and gets the mathematic victory of the regular season. The second-place race is still open with Seas Jamaica United that has only two points less than LSA Limeño.

Mid-Atlantic South

Three great matches were played this Saturday in this challenging division. Soda City FC continues its unbeaten streak with a 2-1 away win against Lobos FC, which takes the 8th consecutive loss of the season. 3-3 draw for Combine Rush against Greensboro International that allows Charleston United, winner of the HWY17 Derby against Savannah Clovers, to reach it at the second place.

3 teams on 3 points! And next weekend there will be the big match between Soda City and Charleston United. Can’t wait for that game!

Division II

Another great win for Inter Jax which continues its winning streak overwhelming Sportsparadize SA 2 with a 12-0 result. 3 points also for Leg A-Z International which has beaten Atletico Orlando with a final result of 6-1. 3 points and one game of difference between these two teams suggest a challenging first place race in the Florida Central Division.
In the Florida South Division this Saturday’s matches haven’t changed much of the standings. Florida Brothers, thanks to the 2-1 win against Inter Florida, has reduced the gap from FC Kendall which is at the top of the table.
